Day-by-day itinerary

Day1

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet and assist you through the airport. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight: Cairo Meals: Welcome Dinner

Day2

After breakfast, begin your Cairo sightseeing tour. Visit the legendary Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, followed by a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, subject to opening and operating arrangements at the time of travel. In the evening, enjoy free time or an optional visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight: Cairo Meals: Breakfast

Day3

After breakfast, drive south toward Minya, one of Egypt’s most fascinating archaeological destinations. Upon arrival, visit Beni Hassan, famous for its beautifully decorated Middle Kingdom tombs. Continue to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight: Minya Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day4

After breakfast, continue your journey south toward Assiut. Manfalut – Holy Family Heritage En route, explore the Monastery of Prince Tadros the Martyr, an important Christian heritage site in the Manfalut area. Continue toward Assiut, located within the path of totality of the 2027 Solar Eclipse. Assiut – Holy Family Heritage Upon arrival in Assiut, discover some of the important sites associated with the Holy Family’s journey through Egypt, including:

Virgin Mary Monastery at Mount Dronka, one of the most significant Holy Family sites in
Muharraq Monastery in Al-Qusiya, an important Christian heritage site associated with the Holy Family.
Monastery of Saint Mina the Wonder Worker at Mount

In the evening, attend a special Solar Eclipse Briefing, where our team will explain the eclipse schedule, viewing arrangements, safety instructions, and what to expect during totality. Overnight: Assiut Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day5

The Main Event Today is the highlight of your Egyptian adventure. After breakfast, travel to our specially selected eclipse-viewing location in the Manfalut–Assiut area, based on the final astronomical calculations, accessibility, weather conditions, safety, and the best available viewing circumstances. During the morning, prepare for one of nature’s most extraordinary spectacles as the Moon gradually moves across the Sun.

Totality

Experience the breathtaking moment when daylight fades and the landscape falls into darkness as the Moon completely covers the Sun. During totality, the Sun’s magnificent corona becomes visible around the black disk of the Moon, creating an unforgettable astronomical experience. The total eclipse is expected to occur around midday / early afternoon, with approximately six minutes of totality in the Assiut–Manfalut region. After totality, enjoy lunch followed by a special Eclipse Celebration before returning to Assiut. Overnight: Assiut Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day6

After breakfast, enjoy a final day exploring the history, culture, and spiritual heritage of Assiut. Depending on local operating conditions and accessibility, the day may include additional archaeological and cultural visits, giving you a deeper insight into the rich history of Upper Egypt. Enjoy your final evening in Assiut. Overnight: Assiut Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day7

After breakfast, depart Assiut and drive back to Cairo. Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your onward flight. Alternatively, you may extend your stay in Cairo with an optional additional night. Meals: Breakfast
