Best Nile Cruises 2026

The best way to learn about the ancient Egyptian culture that thrived along the banks of the Nile is to take the Nile Cruises 2026 either up or down the river. Whether you start your Nile Cruise Luxor Aswan, you are free to go anywhere you want. On one of our Egypt Nile River cruises in 2026, every traveler will get the best service and see all of Upper Egypt’s beautiful sights. Every of our Nile river cruises has the things you need to be comfortable and have fun.

The east bank of the Nile from Luxor to Aswan in the far south is fully displayed. From the boat, you can see both Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. It will make you feel at home, enjoy a delicious meal, and live belly dancing while entertaining with the best nile cruises.

The West Bank is where you will spend the second day of your Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, and here you can see the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Don’t rush to get ready because the captain’s party is about to start. Spend the evening getting to know fellow tour members during your trip to Edfu.

Because both the Temple of Edfu and the Temple of Horus are located in the city of Kom Ombo, a day trip between the two will allow you to visit both in one day. You will continue your tour in Aswan by seeing the Aswan High Dam, the unfinished obelisk, and the Philae Temple.

Travelers on a Nile cruise from Luxor can feel the river’s natural rhythms as they pass historical monuments and vibrant cities. Every experience described here is available on a Best Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan.

The Best Time for River Cruise is between October and April. During these months, it’s not too hot, so day trips to famous places from Luxor to Aswan are the best they can be.

If you cruise down the Nile from June to August, when it’s the hottest, you should expect temperatures around 40°C and even hotter inside the tombs. There isn’t a lot of shade in the area, so pick your Nile cruise dates carefully. Book one of our Nile Cruise Trips in 2026.

Our Egypt Nile River cruise packages for 2026 will give you a divine way to see all the unique archaeological sites, such as the beautiful Hatshepsut temple, the mesmerizing Luxor temple, the holy Philae temple, the great Abu Simbel temples, the stunning Edfu temple, the divine Karnak temple, the grand Valley of the Kings, and more, that tell the ancient stories of Egypt while you enjoy the comfortable facilities onboard the Nile Cruise. Book the perfect Nile cruise through Egypt for 2026 and have the vacation of your dreams.

I've been on many trips, but nothing compares to this! The cruise was the perfect balance of relaxation and discovery — Abu Simbel and Hatshepsut's Temple were breathtaking. The balloon ride over Luxor at sunrise was the icing on the cake.

Our tour was wonderful! Ahmed was an incredible, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Our cruise ship was spotlessly clean with helpful staff, and the food was excellent. We loved Egypt!

We had a fantastic time thanks to Mona — attentive from the first message and completely stress-free, organising the boat, guide and transfers. Our guide Amir was brilliant. We left Egypt with a new friend.

Good to Know

Everything you need before you sail

Best time to sail

October to April brings warm days and cool nights — the prime season. Sailing in summer? Pick a ship with a shaded sun-deck and pool.

What to pack

Light cotton for the day, a layer for breezy evenings, comfy walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses and SPF 50. Modest cover for sacred sites.

Tipping & money

Carry small US dollars or Egyptian pounds for tips and souvenirs. A shared crew tip box is customary; guides and drivers tipped separately.

01 When is the best time for a Nile cruise? +
The best months are October through April, when days are warm (around 25–30°C) and evenings cool. June to August is the hottest, near 40°C — cruises still run year-round, but winter is the most comfortable season to sail.
02 How many nights does a Nile cruise last? +
Most cruises run 3 nights (Aswan to Luxor) or 4 nights (Luxor to Aswan). Longer 7-night round trips are also available, as well as extended 12–15 day itineraries starting from Cairo.
03 What's included in the price? +
All cruises are full-board: accommodation, meals, an English-speaking Egyptologist guide, private air-conditioned transfers, all entrance fees in the programme, and taxes. Optional tours, tipping and personal expenses are excluded.
04 Do I need a visa to visit Egypt? +
Most visitors need a visa, available on arrival at Egyptian airports or online via e-Visa before travel. Requirements vary by nationality, so it's best to check ahead — our team can guide you.
05 How do I book and pay? +
Reserve with a 30% deposit (50% over Christmas, New Year and Easter). Pay securely by Visa or Mastercard, bank transfer, or Western Union — with the balance due before or on arrival.
